Of the Lotions byStarLight, this one is a hit among our teeny tiny women. The vata dosha, the small boned body types are called, seem to have skin that comes alive under the luxurious essential oils contained in this jar. The only difference between Vata, Miracle, Green, and Tea Tree Lotions is the essential oils; they make a world of difference.
This is used to help with maturing crepe skin as well as with delicate young faces. Originally developed as a lubricant, it can also be used in the yoni as a lubricant, but we found that these tiny people prefer it as a daily moisturizer that compliments their skin type and their curves and cheekbones.
Another favorite among the Vata's is the Rose Lotion. We recommend having one of each. Different occasions call for different lotions and the kama sutra has a wonderful trick that allows us to play with different scents and oils on different parts of our bodies when we have an intimate lover who pays attention to these details.
If you know your dosha: Pitta prefers the Miracle and Kapha prefers the Green Lotion. These were suprising results to discover after carefully creating each product for very different reasons.
Ingredients & Their Qualalties
Organic Aloe Vera, NonGMO Virgin Grapeseed, local permacultured full spectrum Beewax, Alafia Shea, Essential Oils of: Australian Sandalwood, Rose Absolute, Frankincense, organic Palmarosa, Amrys, Myrrh, and a touch of Patchouli, and extract of organic Grapefruit seeds.
Aloe Vera and Grapeseed oil calm inflammation and encourage collagen production to naturally regenerate. They quickly build supple nourshed skin with a plethora of vitamins, minerals, and special properties.
Full-Spectrum Beewax and Quality Shea Butter create a living nourished skin barrier that locks in moisture while protecting from pollution, UVs, wind, and even dirt. Eventually, the skin develops its own strength, but immediate and constant use of Vata Lotion ensures skin strength and hydration.
Grapefruit seed is a wonderful cleanser, purifier, and toner. It is allowed in all medical situations as it has nothing to do with the fruit or the peel. And the phototoxicity of grapefruit essential oil is completely due to the peel of the fruit where the essential oil comes from. Grapefruit seed extract is a stoic medicine and one I highly recommend for the home. In this concentrated formula of Vata Lotion, Grapefruit seed extract is only friendly without side effect.
Patchouli: Let's start with the harsh reality that many of you will rush to say NO when you hear this is an ingredient. It does not smell like patchouli, and we have carefully crafted the formula to have just enough of the medicinal qualities of the best Patchoulis we can find without allowing the aroma to bother even the most sensitive of nay-sayers. Discoloration and compaction may happen, especially if lid is left off or cracked. This does not ruin the product, tho it is best to use thicker regions on thicker skins (like the heal or ankle).
The product is expired when black dots appear. Usually this is about three years from the manufacture date. Using the bottle regularly to upkeep the epidermis on your body often means one bottle a year. The first year, your skin may need two or three jars, depending on how hungry and malnourished it is before meeting lotions byStarLight.
The jar is a lovely heavy clear glass with a smooth PET lid. After cleaning, it can be reused for non-food and non-skin/medicinal uses. Many people use them for beads or small tools like screws. As it's clear and sturdy, they are handy for discerning which small bit is inside without having to guess or fiddle. I do not want them back (as so many people ask); I sell you only jars that are brand new). One option is to recycle them, but truly reusing them is a joy., so might as well extend the life of such a piece of art and well-made tool.
